On Sunday, 12 March, our Competition Choir participated in the Arklow Music Festival. They entered the Senior School Choir’s competition and came first. They were awarded a perpetual cup, medal and certificate.

On another note, 15 members of our competition choir will be performing live on TV3 during the Ireland AM programme on December 24th. They will sing three songs at various points throughout the programme.
It will also feature our very own soprano soloist Megan Walsh who will be singing O Holy Night accompanied by Ms Thomas.

Pictured at the Theatre Royal in Castlebar last Wednesday is our Competition Choir with conductor Ms. Olivia Toman. The choir will be featured on RTE’s The All-Island Choir Competition next Sunday 21st October 2012 at 5.10pm.
