TY Class Boyne travelled to Dublin today to visit the European headquarters of Google, the world’s largest company. The girls were given a tour of the office and then received a talk on Computer Science as a career option from one of the Italian computer engineers.

A further talk was given to the girls by Google Account Strategist Dearbhla Toal on the place of Google in the digital world and they were also given an insight into working at Google and how to prepare themselves for future career opportunities in a fast changing world.

The day was finished off with a full lunch in the legendary Google canteen were the girls tried their best to put on the infamous Google Stone in just one lunch! A fun and informative day was had by all.
