On 24th January, Mrs Eileen Cunningham (teacher) and Mia Lynch (student) attended an awards ceremony in Maynooth University in recognition of the school’s contribution to teaching and the promotion of excellence in Business Studies. Seven students in our school achieved an A in their Junior Certificate and Mia Lynch accepted the award on their behalf. Students were Eve Brady, Sophie Finegan, Amelia Guinane, Mia Lynch, Panya Matreja, Eleanor Murchan, Faith Olorunniwo. Included in the photograph with Mrs Eileen Cunningham and Mia Lynch is Maynooth Vice-President Prof. Aidan Mulkeen and Dean of the Faculty of Social Science Prof. Maurice Devlin.

On Saturday, 04 Feb, over 140 students from our Class of 2022 sat their incoming assessment tests in the school. The girls were generously welcomed by both staff and current 5th year students.

The Unity Tree whose ‘leaves’ are fingerprints made by pupils and staff during Bullying Awareness Week to remind everyone that bullying can be prevented when we all come together, united by kindness, acceptance, respect and inclusion. The leaves on Lorna, the Loreto Navan tree in the centre, have been decorated by pupils to illustrate their unique and positive attributes which are being celebrated this week.
