BT Young Scientist Success!

Well done to Transition Year Students Ailbhe Lord, Eimear Woods, Hannah Grant and Meabhdh Tiernan on their success in this year’s BT Young Scientist Competition!


The girls’ projects, “Why do we hate Public Speaking?”  by Ailbhe Lord & Eimear Woods  and “What makes a Song a Hit!” by Hannah Grant and Meabhdh Tiernan, were both Highly Commended.

In addition to its commendation, Meabhdh’s and Hannah’s project won the Institutes of Technology Ireland Special Award!

Many Thanks to the Parents’ Association!

Sr. Elaine accepts a €6,000 cheque on behalf of the school from members of the Parents’ Association. This generous donation was raised by the running of the fashion show on the 27th October.
